Let's begin to ask our audience if pop culture is good for us. Well it is definitely because pop culture is an idea that we create in movies, memes, viral videos that show awareness, short films, and in music that captivate us the audience where we can relate in a sense of humor and common interest. Pop culture is important in society because it takes us into a place where people can bring happiness to the world by making us dream and smile. Able to connect with the world positively despite the real occurrences that are happening in the real world such as dividing our differences in politics, religion, social issues, cultural values and beliefs. We need to cherish pop culture because it can eliminate the negative impacts on issues that have been created within our society. Where we can put a common ground to have a sense of laughter and joy in order to set aside the seriousness that actually divides us as humans.
Such as in the music industry can be related to pop culture in the motivation of music that guides all people no matter the race, religion, age, and all aspects of differences can finally come together to give an idea that we are all the same. A music I know that can be related to pop culture is called “A Sky Full of Stars” sung by a rock band named Coldplay. Chris Martin (member of Coldplay) decided to publicly roll a music video outside the streets and tweeted on Twitter the location he will be in. A ton of fans decide to show up in the inspiration and joy that gives attention to the music and rock band. Chris Martin stated on one of his interviews, “what that song represent to me on ghost stories (music album) is the release after you’ve been after you’ve climbed a mountain or after you’ve done anything challenging and so that’s why that song is unashamedly sort of happy in darkness of all because that’s what it needed to be.” Along with his explanation of the moral of the music guided people to unite as you can see the music video below.
Another aspect of pop culture in movies is Spiderman, an urban superhero who swings from building to building in Manhattan fighting off villains and crimes. The message that sends on the movie Amazing Spiderman is about a teenage boy who struggles with personal life problems in Queens at New York. As relatable to the public viewer who lives in New York knows the struggle of the cost of living, money problems, and balancing in life. But, despite the struggle of a teenage boy going through he still didn’t give up his hope in dreams to still be Spiderman even if living in poor housing, dealing with terrible disasters in the community, loss of a family member, relationships, school, and finance. He still kept going despite the negativity that was thrown upon him. This can create good life lessons towards many people who can relate from teens to adulthood. What I like about this movie is that there are many different stories and versions of Spiderman. Even the most interesting creation of this superhero called Spiderman; he can be anyone because behind that mask we don’t know what the person may look like. The reason why creating a story can be choose any different type of race to play the role of Spiderman as for Miles Morales a biracial teenage boy (half black and half hispanic fictional character) to be their own version of Spiderman that is shown in movies and video games. Stan Lee the creator of the film Spiderman can further explain in more detail about how he created Spiderman. Below will be provided two videos.

All of this combined in movie and music can reflect a good connection within the public to unite together. It is important that pop culture is still connected today in the world because it can create the fun, positivity, glory, and joy in guiding into a new relatable world where everyone can agree upon. This can change the world as we know it without realizing it.
